Transport & Logistics Workforce Advisory Group (T&L WAG)
The T&LWAG was a group established in each State following a directive from the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) which is an organisation consisting of the federal government, the governments of the six states and two mainland territories and the Australian Local Government Association.
The working group consisted of government and industry representatives and was established to address issues identified in the transport and logistics sector relating to all matters concerning the workforce such as education and training, the ageing workforce, low female and indigenous participation rates, poor image and low youth engagement rates.
The T&L WAG concluded in 2014 as the activities were being well covered by the Transport & Logistics Industry Skills Council.
